Austin Camerata will bring its popular BookPeople series, Musical Storytime, to the Draylen Mason Music Studio on Tuesday, July 9, at Noon.  

The program breathes new life into classic children's stories that are read aloud and accompanied by the music of a live string quartet. The target audience is ages 2-5 years, but all ages are welcome. 

Stick around after the show for a musician Q&A and an instrument petting zoo!  

This concert is free and open to the public when you RSVP in advance to reserve your seats.

Austin Camerata

Since its founding in 2016, Austin Camerata has emerged as an ensemble leading the way in innovative chamber music performances in central Texas. Dedicated to reimagining chamber music, Austin Camerata performs an array of repertoire, from the most revered classical masterpieces to jazz, pop, and rock, The ensemble's immersive concert experiences feature unique venues, choreography, visual art, or storytelling. The group's commitment to education has led to its Musical Storytime series in partnership with the award-winning local bookstore BookPeople. The series introduces young listeners to live music paired with beloved children's stories read aloud.
